PropSim Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits & the Official Pricing Conflict
PropSim's current homepage presents one of the lowest public entry points in our prop-firm technology dataset: a free tier followed by $149, $599 and $1,999 monthly plans. But another official PropSim page still states that plans start at $499/month with a $1,000 setup fee. Buyers should understand this conflict before budgeting.
Current PropSim homepage pricing
| Plan | Monthly price | Included credits | Headline annual subscription |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 forever | 10 to start | $0 |
| Launch | $149 | 10/month | $1,788 |
| Scale | $599 | 50/month | $7,188 |
| Enterprise | $1,999 | 200/month | $23,988 |
These annual figures are simple monthly-price × 12 calculations. They do not include extra credit purchases or external payment, identity, market-data or other costs.
How PropSim credits work
PropSim states that pricing is based on funded-trader credits rather than feature unlocks. One credit covers a trader's challenge journey from evaluation through funded status. Purchased credits are stated not to expire. The provider says volume credit packs can reduce the rate to $5.95 per funded trader.
This billing unit matters. A firm with many challenge purchases but few funded traders can experience very different software economics from a vendor billing every active evaluation account.
What is included in the plans?
The homepage states that the platform includes the challenge engine, trader terminal, payouts, KYC/compliance and integrity tooling. Higher plans add or expand capabilities such as custom domains, broader symbols, affiliate tooling, copy trading, MT4/MT5 bridges, API access, analytics, dedicated infrastructure and SLA support.
The pricing conflict
PropSim's official prop-trading-firm use-case page says: plans start at $499/month with a $1,000 one-time setup fee. The same page later promotes starting for free and says “No setup fees,” while the current homepage displays $0 / $149 / $599 / $1,999 and states no setup fees.
Because these statements cannot all describe the same current standard offer, our database marks PropSim pricing as conflicting official sources. This is exactly the kind of discrepancy buyers should catch before signing.
Questions to resolve before buying
- Which pricing schedule is contractually current?
- Is any setup/onboarding fee charged?
- Exactly when is a credit consumed?
- What happens to included monthly credits if unused?
- What do additional credit packs cost at your expected volume?
- Are migration, custom integrations or dedicated infrastructure extra?
- Which trading-platform and market-data charges sit outside PropSim?
- Which SLA applies to the selected plan?
PropSim vs FXPropTech
FXPropTech uses substantially higher public fixed subscription tiers plus setup fees, while PropSim's current homepage uses a lower subscription plus funded-trader credits. See our PropSim vs FXPropTech comparison for the different cost curves.
PropSim vs Execurve
Execurve / PropScale publishes €740/month for up to 500 traders and states no revenue share. PropSim instead uses funded-trader credits. Compare the operational billing units in PropSim vs Execurve.
Is PropSim cheap?
On headline subscription alone, the current homepage is inexpensive relative to many B2B prop-tech offers. But total cost depends on funded-trader volume and credit purchases. More importantly, the official pricing contradiction should be resolved in writing before using any figure in a launch budget.
Who should consider PropSim?
It is particularly interesting for founders who value a self-service launch path, a free entry tier and costs linked to funded traders. Larger firms should model credit consumption, platform connectivity, migration and enterprise support rather than comparing only monthly subscription prices.
